Chef Murph’s Humans for People, Cooking for Homeless

with Special Guest Chef Nicholas Andersch of The Meat Wagon BBQ

Joseph’s House, 555 Atlantic Ave, Camden, NJ 08104

Saturday, September 26, 8:30PM to 10:30PM

Humans for People Foundation Volunteers will be cooking the Dinner and Breakfast meals for the Homeless at Josephs House. It is a clean, secure, and safe place for people who are homeless. It gives them a place to shower, eat and sleep. Most of the people have jobs but are just not making it. Together: saving, preparing, cooking and feeding people in need. Anyone can volunteer you don’t have to be a chef. Wanted to volunteer for this event or others;  http://www.meetup.com/Humans4People/

Special Guest will be cooking with Nicholas Andersch from Meat Wagon BBQ and Philly Food Truck Wars. Mostly just a enthusiastic Eagles Fan. He started one guy and a dream (Nick) who began competing in BBQ competitions around the tri-state area and winning. Nick thought that no one should be deprived of these delicious BBQ delights so decided to go all out. Spending every waking moment building a food truck and selling his BBQ anywhere he could. There’s more, but you’ll just have to find us out on the road and taste for yourself. The reason I invited Nick to cook with me is because he is a great inspiration to homeless, to never give up. Nick has a handicap and still rocks on Going For It. More info at http://www.themeatwagonbbq.com They are based out of 29 S Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901
