Pillsbury’s Kitchen Ke Kalakar contest is all set to test your culinary skills
Mississauga, September 12, 2016 – Pillsbury, a key brand of General Mills Canada Corporation, has launched an online South Asian recipe contest called ‘Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar’ in Canada on the 12 of September, 2016.
“Pillsbury is a well-loved brand amongst South Asians so we’re really excited about launching our ‘Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar’ recipe contest. This initiative will help reconnect the brand with the South Asian Canadian market and create a fantastic opportunity for them to share some delicious, innovative and inspiring South Asian recipes using Pillsbury products” said Paul Cuaso, Marketing Manager for Ethnic Marketing at General Mills.
The contest will be online and will be a great opportunity for all South Asian Canadians who have a flair for cooking to show off their culinary skills.
To participate, one simply needs to visit the Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar contest website, upload a South Asian inspired recipe using at least one Pillsbury product, along with a photograph of the dish and steps on how the dish was made.
The Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar contest will run for 10 weeks and weekly winners will be announced on the contest website. At the end of the 10 weeks, all weekly winners will compete in the Grand Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar Cook-Off hosted at the General Mills Canada Kitchen in Mississauga, Ontario for a cash prize of $1,000 and assorted Pillsbury Products. The winner will also earn the title of 2016 Pillsbury Kitchen Ke Kalakar and may appear in official Pillsbury Canada promotional/advertising materials.
