EOI to Distribute Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets in High and Moderate Risk Area of Malaria
As a Principal Recipient of the Global Fund to AIDS Tuberculosis & Malaria (GFATM), Save the Children in collaboration with Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), Ministry of Health Government of Nepal (GoN), 13 going to support a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to distribute Long Liming Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) In high and moderate risk areas of Malaria districts defined by micro stratification 2013 and as per the approved National Malaria Program. Save the Children invites Expressions of interest (EOI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified NGOs to collaborate as a Sub-Recipient (SR) to distribute LLINs for 3 months period (1 March 2016 no 31 May 2016).
Interested organizations submitting proposals are preferred to have proven experience in managing program on the related key areas: LLlN Distribution; Malaria Awareness Program and Social Mobilization.
The minimum criteria for the organizations to be considered as a potential SR include:
- l) Legal Status: They should be registered at Social Welfare Council according to prevailing laws and regulations Have PAN numbers have yearly financial audits done have timely renewal of the registration with the District Administration Office done and have tax exemption certificate; tax clearance/tax return certificate.
2) They should have bylaws and functional executive boards. Including office structures, policies, procedures and human resources (financial and programmatic) plans in place for Program implementation
3) They should have proven track records on service delivery.
Organization that are interested to work as a SR should submit (hand deliver) proposals in a sealed envelope marked ”EOI/RFP for LLIN Distribution” at the below address no later than 5:00 pm 18th February 2016 (Thursday).
